It’s #throwbacktechthursday! Who remembers the SmartSource coupon machines? These were very common and popular in grocery stores in the 90s. They were often called “blinkies” by most couponers. They get this name because the coupon dispensers usually have a green blinking light designed to attract your attention while walking down the grocery store aisles. Blinkies are usually found directly in front of (or at least nearby) the product for which the coupon is being dispensed is for.

Happy #BlackHistoryMonth! Today, we are featuring Marian R. Crock. She has contributed to the expansion of technology, especially Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP), throughout her career. She currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering at Google. Previously, she served as Senior Vice President of Research and Development at ATT Labs. Crock is credited for creating most of methods and features that both improved its reliability and ushered in its nearly universal adoption. #MarianCrock

Whether you appreciate high quality audio or you just enjoy the nostalgic feeling of using your favorite record from your vinyl collection, a vintage record player is the perfect accessory for any audiophile or music enthusiast at heart. It was invented in 1977 by Thomas Edison and was the dominant audio recording format throughout most of the 20th century. Did you own one?
